Heel Patients Call

Patients from Cardiff suffering heel fractures are being offered the chance to take part in a pounds 500,000 clinical trial.
It is to test the effectiveness of routine surgery to treat severe heel fractures compared with non-surgical treatment.
Around ten patients will be recruited at Llandough Hospital for the ltrials being run by orthopaedic surgeon Declan O’Doherty and funded by the Arthritis Research Campaign.
