WVU Siblings Weekend Feb. 16-17

West Virginia University will host a Siblings Weekend in conjunction with the Mountaineer Parents Club annual Winter Weekend Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16 and 17. The program is designed for any siblings of current WVU students.

Activities include campus tours, faculty lectures, WVUp All Night, admission to the Student Recreation Center, as well as the basketball games, an information fair and pizza party.

Future students will receive WVU information and prizes, as well.

A tentative agenda is listed below:

Friday, Feb. 16:

8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. – Shop at the WVU Bookstore

7 p.m. – WVUp All Night begins

The Student Recreation Center is open free of charge from 6 a.m.- midnight for families.

Saturday, Feb. 17:

10:30-11 a.m. – Check-in at the Creative Arts Center

11 a.m. – Campus Tour

12:30 p.m. – Faculty Lectures

2-3:30 p.m. – Information Fair and Pizza Party – Shell Building

4 p.m. – Men’s Basketball: WVU vs. Seton Hall

6:30 p.m. – Women’s Basketball: WVU vs. South Florida

7 p.m. – WVUp All Night begins

8 p.m. – Pittsburgh Symphony – Creative Arts Center (tickets may be obtained by calling 1-800-743-8560 or by visiting their Web site at www.pittsburghsymphony.org)

The Student Recreation Center is open free of charge from 8 a.m.- midnight for families.

Check-in is from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Creative Arts Center on Feb. 17.
