Need a high-school basketball fix after a week of weather-related postponements? Head to KeyArena today.

The fourth annual King Classic, the first of two tournaments over the holiday weekend, will be played as scheduled today. Eight games are scheduled, beginning with Seattle Prep’s girls playing Holy Names at 10 a.m.

In other highlighted games, Garfield’s girls play Mount Tahoma at 11:30 a.m., and Bainbridge’s boys face South Kitsap at 7:30 p.m. The latter matchup features Gonzaga recruit Steven Gray of Bainbridge. Tickets are $10.

The ninth annual King Holiday Hoopfest is scheduled Monday at Edmundson Pavilion, with seven games scheduled to start from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Weather nearly wiped out high-school sports across the Seattle region the past three days. Administrators are scrambling to reschedule events already shuffled by storms last month. Score-It, an exclusive feature of The Seattle Times’ Web site, is updating changes as they are relayed from schools.
