Champion marathon runner Paula Radcliffe gave birth to a baby girl yesterday, her husband Gary Lough said. The 33-year-old athlete gave birth to her first child in the Princess Grace hospital, Monaco, at 9.43am after being admitted on Tuesday. Delighted husband Mr Lough, who was with her during the birth, said: “She was a long, long time in labour.” But Radcliffe, who currently holds the women’s marathon world record, is doing well. The couple have not yet decided what to call the baby girl.
