Foundation Pledges $1.5 Million to Emergency Department Capital Campaign at Sewickley Valley Hospital

SEWICKLEY, Pa., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sewickley Valley Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a pledge of $1.5 million from The William I. and Patricia S. Snyder Foundation. The gift supports the Emergency Department capital campaign at Sewickley Valley Hospital.
"We have always appreciated the quality healthcare provided by the hospital," said Mrs. Snyder. "It is our hope that this gift will enable the emergency department to continue its high quality care to the community."
The gift from the Snyder Foundation is the lead gift to the capital campaign and takes the fundraising effort to $4.7 million for the Emergency Department. In recognition of the Snyder's generosity, the new department will be named the Patricia S. Snyder Emergency Department in honor of Mrs. Snyder.
