Surya Singh, MD, Joins D2Hawkeye As Senior Vice President, Client Solutions and Clinical Operations

D2Hawkeye, a leader in healthcare data analytics, announced the appointment of Surya Singh, M.D. as Senior Vice President, Client Solutions and Clinical Operations. In this role, Dr. Singh will manage and drive clinical input into product development and research, provide clinical support for key client relationships, and help shape the new D2Consulting Unit.
Dr. Singh's background combines medicine and consulting. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency, Dr. Singh stayed on at the Brigham and Women's and Faulkner Hospitals as a hospitalist, and also became an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He currently continues to treat patients and teach medical students and residents part-time in these same roles.
Following his training and a brief period of full-time clinical practice, Dr. Singh joined McKinsey & Company, a leading management consulting firm. At McKinsey, he rapidly became an Engagement Manager and focused his efforts on counseling the leadership of healthcare companies, including providers, health insurers, pharmaceuticals, medical device companies, and healthcare IT companies.
Dr. Singh's work at McKinsey included leading the effort to create a comprehensive quality strategy for a top ten U.S. academic medical center, managing the creation of a growth strategy for a Fortune 500 medical device company, helping to author and implement a set of growth initiatives for a major hospital chain, and co-authoring/ modeling a strategic vision for EHR adoption and use among various healthcare stakeholders.
