Simplified Training Solutions Releases Home Healthcare DVD, Nutritional Lifeline: The Feeding Tube Decision(TM)

Simplified Training Solutions (STS), a privately held interactive training company, today announced the release of its newest training DVD, Nutritional Lifeline: The Feeding Tube Decision.™

"This DVD gives those who need a feeding tube, the information they should have in order to make an informed decision," comments Jan Karn, RN, and CEO of STS. "The patients, families and healthcare providers we interviewed for this DVD consistently identified the need for a comprehensive explanation of the process and what it will be like to have a feeding tube. The lack of information often delays a patient's decision to have the surgery until it becomes a medical emergency," Karn explains.

Created by health and instructional media professionals, Nutritional Lifeline: The Feeding Tube Decision.™ is the first in a series dealing with issues facing those caring for loved ones at home. The menu driven 32-minute DVD includes four chapters: 1. Decision making, 2. Tube insertion (animation), 3. Using the tube, and 4. Caring for the tube. The DVD is available in NTSC and PAL formats.
