TOPIC: February is National Heart Month and according to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer in the United States, according to an article appearing in The Daily Press. More than 61 million Americans are living with some form of cardiovascular disease. While risk factors such as age, gender and heredity can’t be reduced, through certain lifestyle changes, several risk factors can be controlled.
