Community Health Systems to Participate in the 2007 UBS Global Healthcare Services Conference

Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CYH) today announced that management will participate in the 2007 UBS Global Healthcare Services Conference to be held February 12 -- 14, 2007, in New York City.

The investor presentation by Wayne T. Smith, chairman, chief executive officer and president, and W. Larry Cash, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, February 12, 2007, and will be available to investors via a live audio webcast.
