WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Security Identification Systems Corporation (SISCO), the leader in Identity Management Solutions, announced Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Florida has selected SISCO's FAST-PASS(R) identity management technology. The 'Fast Pass' system will be installed throughout BHSF's hospitals including Baptist Hospital, Baptist Children's Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Homestead Hospital, Mariners Hospital and South Miami Hospital.
"We wanted a product that could be used in several hospital settings to protect the security of our patients and staff," said Mike Durr, vice president of Baptist Health.
The FAST-PASS(R) system rapidly identifies, captures and logs visitors, volunteers, employees and vendors who enter the facilities. The system is able to perform cross checks for criminals, sex offenders, and other internal watch lists in seconds allowing or denying entry. It will also provide an electronic audit trail of all activity that can be printed, e-mailed or stored for later retrieval for management or investigative reports.
"FAST-PASS(R) acts as a front line deterrent. It's easy to use and completes the whole process in seconds, providing a safer working environment without hindering the speed of commerce," said SISCO Director of Sales, Jonathan Fox.
