Ankara, 11 February: Minister of Health Recep Akdag said three more people were hospitalized with flu-like symptoms regarding the avian-flu cases.
Akdag giving a press conference at the closing of the meeting on “Family Medicine Practice” commented on the avian-flu cases seen in the flow in the southeastern city of Batman.
Akdag said three people who may have contacted birds were hospitalized with flu-like symptoms at the Dicle University Hospital and were being closely watched. Akdag said he hoped their tests would turn out negative.
