Repost This

Initiate Systems, Inc., the recognized standard in enterprise master person index (EMPI) software in the healthcare industry, today announced that it will demonstrate industry leadership by featuring superior technology, interoperability and educational presentations at the HIMSS07 Annual Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans.

During the HIMSS07 Interoperability Showcase, Initiate will participate in a “real-world, real RHIO” demonstration, where attendees can create their electronic health record and access it across multiple healthcare settings within the Showcase. Initiate Identity Hub™ software will serve as the Patient Identifier Cross-reference (PIX) Manager and Patient Demographic Query (PDQ) Manager. Earlier this year, Initiate Systems was the only vendor to complete the Integrating the Health Enterprise (IHE) compliance requirements for support of Health Level 7 Version 3 (HL7 V3) for PIX and PDQ.

Initiate customers, SureScripts and Canada Health Infoway will present success scenarios that include the deployment of Initiate Identity Hub™ software for patient accuracy of records and interoperability across the healthcare enterprise.

“HIMSS07 is the optimal time to meet information systems professionals who are looking for solutions to critical problems such as accuracy and security of patient records,” said Scott Harper, Initiate Systems senior vice president and general manager, healthcare practice. “Initiate Identity Hub software furthers the advancement of the healthcare industry overall by helping ensure the accurate, scalable and reliable exchange of patient data.”
