WICHITA, Kan., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Purifan, Inc. announced plans to seek partnerships nationwide with Health Care Insurance providers to introduce the Purifan Clean Air Wellness Program to the employee groups they insure. The Purifan Clean Air Wellness Program involves educating company management about the benefits of aggressively filtering the air in employee shared office areas to reduce airborne allergens, gasses and odors. The goal is to reduce office illnesses and missed sick days by as much as 50%, saving the employer money in paid sick leave and lost employee productivity, and reducing the employee's usage of health care insurance. Purifans installed in public school buildings have reduced absenteeism by 61% in the first year. Schools and open offices have similar issues with the sharing of common illnesses.
Purifan, Inc. plans to work with Health Insurance Providers nationwide to provide marketing and educational materials for their insured groups. Purifan even offers no-risk product trials to prove to them, with their own insured employee groups, that cleaning up the office air will produce substantial savings for the employers and for the insurers. "We expect everyone to be skeptical, but once they test our product, we expect Health Insurance Providers to become enthusiastic about the benefits of the Clean Air Wellness Program for their insured groups, their own employee office areas and their own financial bottom line. There are hundreds of scientific and medical studies about the health problems associated with breathing higher levels of fine particulates, poor indoor air quality, airborne transmission of contagious respiratory illnesses and Sick Building Syndrome that predict the improvements we are achieving with our installations," stated Stanley Brannan, President of Purifan, Inc.
Over 32,000 Purifans have been installed in some of the most difficult air quality applications including schools, nursing homes, homeless shelters, bars, restaurants, casinos, clubs, day-care operations, homes, offices, hospitals, hotel rooms, public waiting areas and businesses with dust or odor problems.
