Aquilent / CENTECH Team Wins Air Force Surgeon General Deal

Aquilent, Inc., in conjunction with THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. announced today the award of a 5-year, $4.2M contract from the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, for strategic planning, analysis, systems integration, and deployment of the Air Force Integrated Framework Healthcare Toolset (AFIFHCT).

This project is a modernization initiative for migration and integration of web-based applications to help achieve the Air Force's personnel healthcare objectives of a Fit and Healthy Force, Enhanced Human Performance, and Casualty Prevention. The task order was awarded through CENTECH's VA GITSS vehicle and has a base period of 1 year, with four 1-year options.

As the major subcontractor to CENTECH, Aquilent will lead this modernization initiative to migrate and integrate multiple existing legacy applications into a net-centric solution, while addressing new requirements as well.

This initiative will help the Air Force Medical Service achieve its mission to provide quality, world-class healthcare and health service support to eligible beneficiaries anywhere in the world at anytime, through net-centric interoperability improvements, and a smaller information technology footprint.
