Mosaic of Hope

Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center staff members Judy Davis, a nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, and Dr. John McCarty, medical director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, stand down the hallway from a wall decorated with mosaic tiles created by cancer center patients and staff. McCarty says he hopes the Mosaic of Hope artwork is the beginning of a collection that will grow as patients chronicle their emotional journeys. Mosaic of Hope is a project of the Massey Alliance in support of the Massey Cancer Center.
