JEWISH LIFE: Scholar-in-residence Leah Kaplan will speak on “Men’s and Women’s Roles in Jewish Life” on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23 and 24, at Congregation Degel Israel, 1120 Columbia Ave.
The Jewish educator, from Baltimore, will speak at a dinner Friday, beginning with candlelighting at 5:32 p.m., and at a noon luncheon Saturday.

LANCASTER MENNONITE: Lancaster Mennonite High School, 2176 Lincoln Highway East, will present its winter concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, in the Fine Arts Center.
The concert will feature performances by a string ensemble, symphony orchestra, Campus Chorale, Junior Chorale, men’s chorus, concert band, jazz band and flute ensemble.
A freewill offering will be received.
OPEN HOUSE: Living Word Academy, 2384 New Holland Pike, will host an open house for kindergarten through grade 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25.
