Westside Medical Imaging Announces the Presentation of Their Research Findings at the Annual Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Scientific Sessions

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Westside Medical Imaging (WMI) is a renowned national site of excellence for cardiac and vascular 64-slice CT imaging and has been a pioneer in cardiac CT angiography. We would like to announce the acceptance for presentation at the very prestigious 30th Annual Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions scientific sessions to be held in Orlando, Florida. We will be announcing the pivotal results of our investigation dealing with the severity of coronary arterial stenosis observed with 64-slice CT coronary angiography in patients with low coronary calcium scores. This work has been the result of the collaborative efforts of Drs. Norman E. Lepor, Hooman Madyoon, Ramin Ebrahimi, and Shah Azmoon. It is anticipated that the results of this clinical evaluation will impact the approach to patients with low coronary calcium scores who may be at higher risk of severe blockages in the coronary arteries than had been previously anticipated.
