Shock Man Critical

A Hamilton man who received an electric shock after climbing on top of a railway wagon in Te Rapa last week is in a critical but stable condition in Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital. The 19-year-old was transferred from Waikato Hospital to Middlemore on Friday to undergo surgery, and is now in the intensive care unit. The man was seriously burnt on the upper left hand side of his body after getting too near overhead powerlines last Wednesday.
