Aikman, Thomas Up for College Hall

Mar. 8–Thurman Thomas and Troy Aikman are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Is the College Football Hall of Fame next?

Both were on the list of candidates for the college hall, which was released Wednesday.

Aikman played quarterback at Oklahoma and UCLA before moving on to the Dallas Cowboys. Thurman Thomas was a running back at Oklahoma State from 1984-1987.

Other Oklahomans on the list were center Tom Brahaney, who played at OU from 1970-1972; OU running back Clendon Thomas (1955-1957) and former Tulsa and Ohio State player John Cooper.
