Lake Hospital System to Award $5,000 Diversity in Health Care Scholarship

PAINESVILLE, Ohio, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its commitment to workplace diversity and giving back to the community, Lake Hospital System today announced the establishment of the Diversity in Health Care Scholarship Program for 2007.
Through the program, Lake Hospital System will award one $5,000 scholarship to a full-time sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a four-year degree in professional health care or allied health fields. The scholarship recipient will be required to work for Lake Hospital System for a minimum of two years after graduation and serve as an active member of the Lake Hospital System Diversity Task Force for one year.
To obtain a scholarship application, please contact Tiffany Gillam at (440) 354-1176. All applications and supporting material must be received on or before April 27, 2007. The selection committee will interview finalists and make its final decision in late-May. All applicants will be notified via e- mail of their final status.
