PHILADELPHIA, March 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania (MHASP) has announced a restructuring of the executive officers of the Association. Joseph Rogers, prior President and CEO, will now fill the office of President of the Policy and Advocacy Division and Rosemary O'Rourke, former Vice President/Treasurer, will assume the position of Interim Executive Director.

"This restructuring of executive leadership will allow a strong focus on behavioral health policy and advocacy and community relations under the leadership of Joseph Rogers while Rosemary will provide executive leadership for program operations and business affairs," explained Denise Maida, Psy.D., Board Chair of MHASP. "These changes will undoubtedly assist us in pursuing continued excellence in advocacy and services to the mental health community."

O'Rourke comes to MHASP with extensive leadership and management experience as executive director for community mental health organizations in Southeastern PA and in Washington DC. Rogers, winner of the 2005 Heinz Award, has been with MHASP for 23 years and has been critical in its growth and evolution as the largest and most respected mental health agency in the area.
