The Morehouse School of Medicine Public Health Summit will take place
during National Public Health Week, which will be observed from April 2 to
8. The summit will:
— examine global, national, and local health disparities,
— explore solutions to these health disparities,
— issue a call to action through the release of a white paper, “The
Public Health Approach to the Elimination of Disparities in Health,”
by The Satcher Health Leadership Institute, presented by Satcher and
Higginbotham.
Attendees will include public health officials, faculty, staff and
students from the Morehouse School of Medicine, as well as from other
schools in the Atlanta University Center.
