Posted on: Monday, 2 April 2007, 12:00 CDT
Broadlane announced today that Dosher Memorial Hospital, Southport, North Carolina, has selected Broadlane to provide an array of supply chain services under an exclusive agreement.
Under the agreement, Broadlane will provide Dosher Memorial Hospital with its high-powered national supply chain services for consumable supplies and equipment, pharmaceuticals and purchased services and technology to help them manage their approximate $4 million in annual supply spend.
"Recently, New Hanover Regional Medical Center became a Broadlane client and we knew that they were extremely pleased with the results and service they were receiving from Broadlane. We also knew they had performed an extensive assessment of GPOs before they made their decision so we decided we would take a look at Broadlane as well. After conducting our own assessment, we were convinced that Broadlane was the GPO that could help us drive costs out of our supply chain," said Lynda Stanley, senior vice president/chief operations officer at Dosher Hospital.
David C. Ricker, Broadlane's president and chief operating officer, said, "There is nothing that is more gratifying to us as a company than to gain a new client through favorable comments from a current client. We are eager to serve Dosher Memorial Hospital and believe our contract portfolio and service will assist them in achieving their supply chain goals."
