MJHS President and CEO Named Fellow of Health Care Executives Group

NEW YORK, April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Eli S. Feldman, President and CEO of Metropolitan Jewish Health System (MJHS), was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). ACHE is a professional society dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professional, educational and leadership performance; the highest ethical standards and conduct; and the advancement of health care management excellence.

Mr. Feldman has more than 40 years of experience at MJHS. During this time, he has led the system through significant expansion and change with great success. His leadership has enabled MJHS to grow from a single skilled nursing facility to a comprehensive health care system serving more than 40,000 New Yorkers each year.

He is also actively involved with a number of state and national professional organizations serving the chronically impaired, frail and the elderly, including the Association for Jewish Aging Services of North America and Greater New York Hospital Association.

Mr. Feldman has received a number of awards, including the highest honor from New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aged, the Lawrence E. Larson Award. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree from C.W. Post College of Long Island University, as well as a master's degree in hospital administration from Wagner College.
