Apr. 5–Two men badly hurt in a motorcycle collision Sunday in Butler County remain in fair condition at Wichita hospitals.

Howard Bromley, 62, is being treated at Wesley Medical Center, while Randy Brown, 66, has been transferred from Wesley to Via Christi Medical Center’s St. Francis campus.

Butler County authorities have reported that Bromley attempted to pass another motorcycle rider as they were riding south on K-177 about three miles south of Cassoday just before 1:30 p.m.

Brown was riding north on K-177, authorities said, and Bromley collided with him. The rider Bromley passed also crashed as he attempted to avoid the collision, and he was treated and released from the hospital in El Dorado.
