HISTORICAL SOCIETY: An “Antique Roadshow a la Maytown” will be held during the next meeting of the Maytown Historical Society at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Queen Street.

Richard Dickson will appraise items. Members and new members may submit three items for appraisal. Membership is available for $5 at the meeting.

WEIGHT: Ephrata Community Hospital will hold an orientation for its Lean Lifestyle program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Cocalico Center for Health, 63 W. Church St., Stevens. Classes begin Wednesday, April 25.

Cost is $175 and payment plans are available. A free support group is offered for those who complete the program.

RESEARCH: The Lancaster County Historical Society will present “Let the Record Show: Courthouse Research” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the society, 230 N. President Ave.

Research assistant Marianne Heckles and archives assistant Amanda Snow will explain the different types of records created by probate, civil and criminal courts.

Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Advance registration is required by calling 392-4633.
