Blandford Cycles to See His New Baby

TROUBLED aristocrat the Marquess of Blandford’s wife Edla has given birth to a baby girl.

The baby, who has yet to be named, will be second in line to inherit the Pounds 100million family estate, Blenheim Palace, after Blandford’s 14-year-old son, George, by his first wife.

The baby was born on Thursday at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny, near the home of Edla’s parents.

The Marquess who faces a dangerous-driving charge in court next month, and who arrived at the hospital on his bike yesterday looking dishevelled said he was ‘overjoyed’.

Friends say the couple’s marriage has been going through a difficult patch.
