Apthera Engages Ferghana Partners for Private Equity Financings

Apthera is pleased to announce its engagement of Ferghana Partners Group (New York, Boston, London & Australia) to facilitate its Series C private equity investment as well as any future private equity rounds of investment. The Company has already completed its Series A round of investment and is in the process of completing a Series B bridging round. The Company intends to use the proceeds of its private equity financings to complete clinical development of NeuVaxTM for the treatment of early-stage breast cancer. Upcoming milestones include an End-of-Phase II meeting with the FDA, Special Protocol Assessment and the launch of phase III clinical studies. Apthera also plans to license additional peptide-based immunotherapies and initiate a Phase II clinical trial to evaluate NeuVax for the treatment of early-stage prostate cancer. In the near future, Apthera will enter into a corporate partnering process concerning the further development and commercialization of NeuVax on a global or regional basis.
