Saturday, April 14 Meeting to take place at NTSB Conference Center at L’Enfant Plaza, Washington, D.C.

Commission to receive general overview of the current system of care that is provided to our servicemen and women from the battlefield through transition to civilian life or active duty service. Future meetings to discuss specific issues on care facing our wounded warriors

Time: Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, April 14, 2007 and will conclude at approximately 5:00 p.m. EST.

Public Comments: The meeting is open to the public. There will be a public comment period at 1:00 p.m. EST for one hour. Individuals interested in making presentations must make a prior, written request to the Commission by today – Wednesday, April 11 at 5:00 p.m. EST – via fax at 703-588-2046. Late submissions will be considered. Presentations will be limited to five minutes.

Location: The meeting will be held in the National Transportation Safety Board Conference Center, 429 L’Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington, D.C. (The street entrance is located on lower 10th Street, just below the L’Enfant Plaza Promenade running between D Street and Frontage Road). The closest Metro stop is “L’Enfant Plaza” station, on the Yellow, Green, Orange and Blue lines. Public (at cost) garage parking is immediately adjacent. Metrorail access is highly recommended.

Media Logistics: Media organizations wishing to attend with video cameras are recommended to arrive for set up by 7:00 a.m.
