BRAMPTON, Ont. (CP) - Officials say four children remain in hospital, one in critical condition, following a horrific school bus crash northwest of Toronto.
A spokeswoman at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children says they're treating an eight-year-old boy who is in critical condition.
A 10-year-old girl whose injuries are serious but not life threatening is also at the hospital.
In Brampton, where the crash occurred, the William Osler Health Centre says it's keeping two students for observation while 24 other crash victims have been released.
Officials say the eight-year-old boy was admitted to the Brampton hospital with vital signs absent before he was resuscitated and taken by helicopter to Sick Kids.
Police say the bus, carrying Grade 4 students on a field trip, collided with a transport truck on Highway 410.
