WALES: Serious Injuries in Crash

A MOTORCYCLIST was in hospital last night with serious head injuries following a crash.
Police cordoned off the Llangollen Road at Acrefair, near Wrexham, yesterday following the smash at about 3pm. It involved a Honda motorbike.
The rider was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
A North Wales spokeswoman said: “The ambulance service attended the collision on Llangollen Road and took the motorcyclist to WrexhamMaelor Hospital suffering serious head injuries.”
The road was closed, with diversions, while paramedics worked at the scene.
