Dr. Bruno will present a model-based approach to support drug development in oncology, and will co-chair a symposium, which brings together pharmaceutical scientists from industry and academia, on how disease progression and drug pharmacokinetics and dynamics are connected. The title of Dr. Bruno’s presentation is “Modeling of Cancer Progression and Drug Effects.” The session will include applied examples of model-based clinical pharmacology in several therapeutic areas, and will describe research on how modeling and simulation has been used to predict expected clinical outcomes and support decision-making. The session will also provide a forum for scientific discussion and collaborative exchange on model-based approaches in drug development.
