Centrix Pharmaceutical Signs Agreement With Interpharm for REPREXAIN(R)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Centrix Pharmaceutical, Inc., a privately-held developer and marketer of prescription and non-prescription pharmaceutical products, announced today that it has signed a Manufacturing and Supply Agreement with Interpharm Holdings, Inc. for REPREXAIN(R) CIII Oral Tablets. Pursuant to the Agreement, Centrix will sell and distribute four strengths (two of which have not been previously available) of REPREXAIN(R), as manufactured and supplied by Interpharm, a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of pharmaceuticals. The parties have not disclosed the details of the agreement, however, Interpharm will receive a portion of the profits generated from sales of the products.

This is the second such agreement between Centrix and Interpharm. In July 2005, the two organizations began, and continue to collaborate on, the distribution of a line of female hormone products.

REPREXAIN(R) is indicated for the short-term (generally less than 10 days) management of acute pain. The two new dosing options for REPREXAIN(R) are currently awaiting approval by the FDA.

REPREXAIN(R) is not indicated for the treatment of such conditions as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
