SOUP/SANDWICH: The West Earl Fire Company auxiliary will hold a soup and sandwich sale from 8:30 a.m. to sellout Saturday, April 21, at the fire hall on School Lane.

Soup is $4 a quart and sandwiches are $2.50 each.

SPAGHETTI: Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, 450 W. Main St., Mountville, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the church’s fellowship hall.

Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Children under 3 eat for free.

BARGAIN SALE: St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 719 Marietta Ave., will hold its semi-annual bargain sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21.

Miscellaneous clothing and home items will be sold, along with barbecue, hot dogs, chicken corn and vegetable soups and beverages.

Proceeds will support church projects.

BINGO: A basket bingo will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the Bareville Fire Company, 211 E. Main St., east of Leola. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and games begin at 7.

Twenty-one games will be played. Food will be available for purchase. Tickets cost $20 and will be sold at the door, if available.

BANQUET: The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will hold its annual banquet meeting at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Yoder’s Restaurant, 14 S. Tower Road, New Holland.

Linford Stutzman, author of the book “Sailing Acts: Following an Ancient Voyage,” and his wife, Janet, will speak.

Stutzman is an associate professor of culture and mission at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va. The Stutzmans sailed a 33-foot boat in the Mediterranean for 14 months to retrace the journeys of the apostle Paul in the book of Acts. They will talk about their voyage.

The cost to attend the meal and program is $18 for adults and $13 for children.

EX-POWS: The Conestoga Chapter of American Ex-Prisoners of War will hold a luncheon meeting a 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Apple Tree Family Restaurant, 100 S. Centerville Road.

SINGLES: Singles Over Sixty will hold a dine-out meeting at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Fiorentino’s Italian Restaurant, at the Lancaster Airport, Lititz.

CELTIC: Lancaster Bible College will hold its annual Spring Celebration concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Good Shepherd Chapel on the campus, 901 Eden Road.

The concert, “Ancient Words,” will feature a celebration of Celtic music using the Irish flute and bagpipe, and a soloist singing Celtic hymns.

The group is open to anyone pregnant after a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. The group meets regularly on the third Tuesday of each month. Call 396-9613 for more information.
