Saks Fifth Avenue and Ambassador Magazine to Host Benefit Fashion Show for Kids Kicking Cancer on Thursday, May 10, 2007

TROY, Mich., April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Impeccable styles and tastes will fill the air as Saks Fifth Avenue and Ambassador Magazine host, "An Evening at the Etro Sapphire Lounge." Honorary chairs are Dennis Archer, Jr. and Denise Ilitch, co-publishers of Ambassador Magazine.
Cocktails & hearty Hors D'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. show is at 7:00 p.m. at the Etro Sapphire Lounge, 2nd floor, Saks Fifth Avenue -- Somerset Collection 2901 West Big Beaver Road in Troy. Music by DJ Mike Anthony. Saks Fifth Avenue models will present a runway show featuring men's and women's fashions from the Etro fall 2007 collection.
Each "Lounge Lizard" ticket costs $50.00; and includes a $25.00 contribution to Kids Kicking Cancer. Through an innovative program that merges modern integrative medicine with traditional martial arts, Kids Kicking Cancer addresses the overwhelming needs of children suffering from cancer, sickle cell anemia and other serious chronic and acute illnesses throughout Michigan. Martial arts uniforms, instruction and transportation to and from classes are provided to families at no cost.
