Posted on: Tuesday, 1 May 2007, 09:00 CDT

InRoomMD, a travel healthcare concierge for visitors to the most popular U.S. destinations, has named Frenesa K. Hall, MD, Regional Medical Director for its metro Atlanta healthcare network. Dr. Hall, an internist, will oversee the delivery of quality healthcare services for InRoomMD participants visiting the Atlanta area. She is CEO and Chief Medical Officer for Mobile-Medicine.net, a virtual medical practice specializing in onsite healthcare that she co-founded in 2003. Mobile-Medicine.net is the network administrator for InRoomMD in Atlanta.

InRoomMD offers concierge-style healthcare services including 24-hour in-room physician visits, prescription replacements, specialist referrals and expedited access to emergency care both direct to consumers by subscription and as a benefit to groups insured by traditional or travel healthcare policies. Atlanta is one of 15 North American cities in which InRoomMD will be operating by June 2007, including its flagship network in Las Vegas. InRoomMD will have active networks in 40 cities by year-end.

"Atlanta meets InRoomMD's two most important strategic criteria: huge demand as a popular travel destination, and resources available to deliver our high-standard quality of care," said InRoomMD president Andrew Jacobson. "Dr. Frenesa Hall has not only the superior medical credentials we require, but also invaluable expertise as a healthcare delivery innovator through her successful Mobile-Medicine.net practice."

"InRoomMD has brought the future of healthcare services delivery to Atlanta at the perfect time," said InRoomMD Regional Medical Director Dr. Frenesa Hall. "Travelers to the city will benefit from the option of quality in-room medical care and Atlanta physicians will enjoy a business model that allows them to engage in rewarding patient relationships while maintaining an income commensurate with the responsibility they assume."

"My goal is to make quality of care job one, and ensure the cost effectiveness of all InRoomMD delivered healthcare services," Dr. Hall added.

Dr. Hall is a Harvard University graduate who received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988.
