8th Street Contemporary Dance Company’s to Perform at UCCC

May 4–The 8th Street Contemporary Dance Company’s debut performance will be 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Hensel-Phelps Theatre of the Union Colony Civic Center.

Elements of modern, contemporary jazz and hip-hop works will be performed, as well as works from the University of Northern Colorado.

Tickets are $11 for adults and $9 for students.

Also, advanced dancers 17 and older are welcome to audition for this season’s company. Those will begin at 2 p.m. with jazz and modern, and at 3:45 p.m. there will be hip-hop auditions. The auditions will be Sunday in the Hensel Phelps Theatre.
