Wendy Gary Appointed to MNCHA Board of Directors
EASTON, Md., May 14 /PRNewswire/ — Wendy Gary of Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc., has been invited to serve on the Board of Directors for the Maryland-National Capital Homecare Association (MNCHA). MNCHA is the only association in Maryland and Washington DC dedicated to representing the homecare industry.
Mrs. Gary is the Director of Quality Improvement Programs for the Maryland and District of Columbia Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) contracts that Delmarva Foundation holds with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As Director of Quality Improvement, she oversees quality improvement activities and interventions in long term care settings; homecare and nursing homes.
Delmarva Foundation’s Home Health Quality Improvement Team is dedicated to working in partnership with MNCHA in supporting Maryland and the District of Columbia’s health agencies to deliver the highest quality care possible to people in their homes. Delmarva offers home health agencies a variety of ongoing educational opportunities and resources, free of charge, all geared toward improving the quality of care for Medicare consumers.
