Montecito Medical Investment Company (MMIC) announced today the acquisition of the South Lake Medical Plaza, a 67,023 square foot medical office building in Clermont, Florida. The project is located on the campus of South Lake Hospital on Citrus Tower Blvd.

The project is a new, three-story building occupied primarily by South Lake Hospital and private physicians. The Hospital is currently in the planning stages of expanding its 170 acre one-of-a-kind campus. Once developed, the facility will serve the community by integrating health, education, wellness and sport science all in one location. South Lake Hospital has served the Clermont community since 1947 and is in partnership with Orlando Regional Healthcare.

“The acquisition of South Lake Medical Plaza is our 13th acquisition in Florida and our first in the Orlando area,” said Chip Conk, President and CEO of MMIC. “We are excited to be on the campus of the expanding South Lake Hospital and are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with the Hospital and with our physician-tenants.”
