David J. Bender Joins the Lewin Group

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — David J. Bender, a senior executive with the health science advisory services practice at Ernst and Young, has joined the Lewin Group as a Vice President, leading the firm’s provider practice. In his role at Ernst and Young, Bender led the strategic market-planning competency for community hospitals and systems, academic medical centers, and long-term care providers.

Bender’s almost 30 years of experience in health care includes directing over 100 health care strategic planning engagements, as well as medical staff plans, ambulatory services plans, new business opportunity analysis, and feasibility studies. His international experience includes facility development work in Dubai, UAE, Mexico City, and Lima, Peru.

Bender received his B.A. from Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas and his M.S.P.H., Health Services Management, from University of Missouri-Columbia.
