LifePoint Hospitals to Participate in Bank of America 2007 Health Care Conference

LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPNT) today announced that its management will give a presentation on the Company, followed by a question and answer session, at the Bank of America 2007 Health Care Conference to be held May 30 -- June 1, 2007, in Las Vegas.

The Company also announced that a live broadcast of its conference presentation will be available on Thursday, May 31, 2007, beginning at 3:20 p.m. Pacific time. To access the broadcast, listeners should go to the Company's website, www.lifepointhospitals.com, approximately 15 minutes prior to the event to register and download any necessary software, Microsoft Media Player or RealPlayer. For those unable to listen to the live broadcast, a replay will be available for 30 days on the Company's website.
