Great-West Healthcare and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System Agree to Contract Extension

Great-West Healthcare, a national employee benefits provider, today announced it has renewed its contract with Sarasota Memorial Health Care System to provide in-network health care services to Great-West Healthcare's more than 6,000 members in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The agreement covers Great-West Healthcare's open access, point-of-service and preferred provider organization health plans.
The agreement provides Great-West Healthcare members with continued access to Sarasota Memorial's inpatient and outpatient hospital services such as comprehensive cardiac care, cancer care, emergency care, obstetrics, orthopedics and outpatient walk-in clinics.
