Care Communications, Inc. Hires New Director of Cancer Registry Services

Care Communications, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in the health information management (HIM) industry, today appointed Laurie Hebert, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CTR as its new Director of Cancer Registry Services. Hebert joined Care Communications after working in various capacities, including cancer registry/coding management for a leading quality HIM coding services company.

As Director of Cancer Registry Services, Hebert will manage cancer registry consultants and client relationships at Care Communications. She will also be responsible for selling cancer registry services and providing oversight for research projects requiring cancer registry data.
Hebert has spent much of her career serving in a variety of HIM leadership roles for many of Louisiana's top hospitals. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA), among other leading healthcare organizations.
