Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. (USA), the leading provider of enterprise-wide resource management solutions to the healthcare industry, today announced that St. Anthony's Health Care, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, has contracted for USA's award winning Resource Management System (RMS).
St. Anthony's Health Care will participate with other hospitals for a common patent itinerary. RMS will serve patients and physicians by allowing convenient access, including pre-registration and registration, historical access to previous visits, and rules-driven conflict free service and procedure scheduling. RMS is sensitive to patient preferences and creates a complete patient schedule itinerary, insuring the highest level of quality, convenience and safety. In order to reduce patient wait time after arrival, RMS monitors registration activity prior to the visit to insure the paperwork is completed, and the patient can be provided needed services immediately.
St. Anthony's Health Care, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a 395-bed not-for-profit hospital founded in 1931 as a ministry of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany and is the first and only faith-based hospital in Pinellas County. In 1997, St. Anthony's became part of BayCare Health System, a joint operating agreement between the Tampa Bay area's leading not-for-profit hospitals. St. Anthony's has a rich history dedicated to improving the health of the community by providing high-quality, innovative and compassionate care. Over the past two years, St. Anthony's Health Care has invested more than $67 million dollars to build one of the finest, state-of-the-art adult health care systems in the region. In addition, St. Anthony's Health Care opened the 145,000-square-foot Carillon Outpatient Center in 2004 and updated their mid-county Tyrone Imaging Center with the latest MRI technology.
William J. Nicoll, USA's Senior Sales Executive stated, "USA is pleased to provide the market leading enterprise scheduling product to St. Anthony's. The work will begin immediately so that St. Anthony's will meet its goals. We are looking forward to working with Bill Ulbricht and the rest of the St. Anthony's team."
