NEW YORK, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The N, the nighttime network for tweens and teens, saddles up for the third season of its battle-of-the-sexes reality series, Girls V. Boys. Girls V. Boys: Montana, shot on location in Livingston, Montana's Paradise Valley, will premiere Friday, December 3 at 9:00 p.m. (ET).
Girls V. Boys: Montana, produced for The N by Dancing Toad Productions, Inc., is an original, half-hour battle-of-the-sexes reality series full of teen drama and gender conflict. The new 11-episode series airs regularly on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. (ET) and pits a team of three girls and three guys against each other in 20 intense physical and mental competitions for the chance to score points, win prizes and vie for the grand prize of $30,000. Girls V. Boys: Montana, features direct-to-camera commentary and behind-the- scenes banter between the six teens as they travel to scenic locations around their new 'home base' -- a beautiful log home set in the picturesque mountains along the Yellowstone River. Each team also has their own 'coach' who serves as friend, mentor and counselor throughout their Montana adventures.
"The Montana season of Girls V. Boys is the most extreme to date," said Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Vice President, Programming and Production, The N. "Gross challenges, intense interpersonal drama, and strategic back-stabbing are all par for the course this season."
Meet the Girls Team:
-- Colleen Kirk -16-year-old outspoken, controlling and often abrasive
teen from Hoboken, NJ
-- Ming Peiffer -16-year-old competitive tomboy and lacrosse player from
Columbus, Ohio
-- Monica Estrada -16-year-old easygoing soccer and basketball player
from Calabasas, CA
Meet the Boys Team:
-- Jose Gonzalez -17-year-old no-nonsense, outspoken ladies man from
Maywood, NJ
-- Matt Sledge Johnson -17-year-old competitive basketball player from
Atlanta, GA
-- Allen Justice -17-year-old intelligent and cocky former boxer from
Atlanta, GA
Challenges in Girls V. Boys: Montana will include:
-- "Got Enough Balls" - It's a 10-minute race in a cattle pen of 30
sheep, as the guys try to herd only male sheep and the girls must herd
only female sheep. Points are deducted for sheep herded from the
opposite sex of each team.
-- "Ride 'Em Cowboy" - In a dude ranch corral, two teammates dressed in a
cow costume must move around on all fours and avoid being lassoed by
the opposing team's horseback rider.
-- "Water-Logged" - The teams test their balance in a log rolling
competition on a lake. The kids on shore try to break the opponent's
concentration using other tools including giant water guns.
-- "Tube Crawl" - A speedboat drags a series of four connected inner
tubes through the water, as each teammate crawls from the last tube to
the first at the stern of the boat. Best timed average wins.
-- "Log Bowling" - The teammates take turns being human bowling bowls, as
they are pushed down a hill inside a huge rubber ball to see who can
knock down the most log bowling pins.
-- "Gender Bender" - It's a cross-dressing competition to see who is most
convincing as the opposite sex. With their real faces disguised, the
teams are judged by a huge audience of teens.
