IntegraMed Ranked on Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Small Public Companies List for Third Time
Posted on: Wednesday, 11 July 2007, 15:05 CDT
IntegraMed America, Inc. (NASDAQ: INMD), the nation's largest provider of business services and products to the fertility segment of the healthcare industry, announced it has been ranked number 73 on Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Small Public Companies List for 2007. Today's announcement marks the third time that IntegraMed has been ranked on the list.
The Fortune 100 Fastest Growing Small Public Companies List is based on percentage growth in earnings, revenue and stock performance over the past three years for companies with revenues of less than $200 million and a stock price of more than $1.00. The 2007 rankings are based on performance measures in 2004, 2005 & 2006. Banks, real estate firms and certain entertainment companies were excluded from Fortune's calculations.
Factors contributing to IntegraMed's strong operating performance included ongoing operating efficiencies provided by group purchasing of personnel benefits; new patient marketing programs delivering industry leading performance; reduced malpractice premiums for participating members achieved by ARTIC, IntegraMed's own malpractice insurance subsidiary; the addition in 2006 of six new practices to its network of fertility clinics nationwide and the continuing success of its Shared Risk™ Refund Program for in vitro fertilization procedures.
"IntegraMed continues to execute its strategy of leveraging our investments, expertise, infrastructure and people for the benefit of our patients, payors and providers," said Jay Higham, president and CEO of IntegraMed America. "Our inclusion in the Fortune list this year is a sign post that we continue to demonstrate competitive advantage and provide value and return on investment for our partners and customers. While we will continue to evaluate opportunities to further leverage our resources and competitive strengths, we all recognize that the most successful, growth-oriented centers in our network continually focus their efforts on providing superior care, attracting and retaining patients, managing their business, and planning for long-term growth."
