Iran Expert Calls for Conditional Talks on Additional Nuclear Protocol
Text of report in English by Iranian official government news agency IRNA website
Tehran, 22 September: An Iranian nuclear expert said Monday [22 September] that as long as Iran's nuclear case is in the Security Council, it will not talk on additional protocol too.The nuclear expert Mahdi Mohammadi told IRNA Monday that Iran will probably be ready for talks on the additional protocol if its case is treated normally in the IAEA Board of Governors and its right to enrichment in industrial scale is fully confirmed by different parties.
"So, if there are some people expecting Iran to implement the protocol, they should first prepare necessary grounds for normalization of Iran's case."
He said Iran has no problem to answer the so-called ambiguities over its programme.
