Two Koreas Schedule Military Talks
The demilitarized zone between North and South Korea is set for the first military dialogue between the two counties in more than eight months, officials said.
The South Korean Defense Ministry says representatives of the two sides will meet on Thursday in the truce village of Panmunjom, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reports.
Relations between the north and south hit bottom in July when North Korean guards fatally shot a South Korean housewife at a resort in the communist nation.
Pyongyang refused to allow South Korean investigators into the Mount Geumgang resort, prompting Seoul to cancel all tours there.
Military talks between two countries were last held on Jan. 25.
