Dozens wounded, many dead in Baghdad suicide bomb
BAGHDAD (Reuters) – A suicide bomber with explosives
strapped to his body wounded dozens of people at an Iraqi army
recruiting center in western Baghdad on Sunday and killed as
many as 20, police and hospital sources said.
One police source said 21 were killed and 31 wounded,
according to preliminary estimates. A second police source said
casualties were in the dozens. A source at a nearby hospital
said it was treating 34 wounded and there were many dead.
