Israeli army says troops killed militant in Nablus

NABLUS, West Bank (Reuters) - Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian militant in the West Bank city of Nablus early on Thursday, the Israeli army said.
Soldiers surrounded a house in Nablus where several militants were believed to have holed up during an arrest operation. They shot and killed one of them when he attempted to escape the building, an army spokeswoman said.
